The Family Health Center was established in 1977, by Dr. James Barry in Marion, Ohio, and has been in Springboro since 1980. From its inception, the Family Health Center has been dedicated to total family care. Over the last thirty years, we have provided services to our patients in numerous settings: office, hospitals, nursing homes and in our patients' homes.

In October of 2002, we joined Providence Medical Group. Providence Medical Group is an organization of physicians located throughout the Miami Valley who share administrative services while maintaining their separate locations. In uniting with these other physicians, we are able to offer a larger variety of services to our patients (by cost-sharing) while maintaining a small and personal family practice.

James Barry, M.D. has been with the Family Health Center since its inception. In October of 1999, the Family Health Center welcomed James Fisco, D.O. to its staff. Emma Garcia, D.O. joined us in December of 2003. Our staff also includes Physicians Assistant Jill Riess, PA-C.
